There is bus station in the port of Nuweiba from which buses regularly leave to all Sinai cities like Dahab, El Tur and Sharm, to Cairo and to Taba/Border control. This is a very cheap way of travelling.

The East Delta buses leave to Dahab (1 h, 10 LE), Sharm El Sheikh (3 h, 20 LE), departure daily- 6.30 and 15.30. The bus to Taba (1 h, 10 LE) leaves at 5.30 and 11.30.
There are 2 buses to Cairo, one at 10.00 (8 h, 55 LE) which crosses the Sinai via St. Catherine, and another at 14.30 which drives via the north Sinai and the city Nekhl. Every now and then there is also a bus at 5.00 where you will have more chance to catch a seat. There are also many buses with random leaving times, they leave once they are full. These buses may not be the prettiest and most comfortable options, but it is better than hoping the taxi driver will have mercy on your wallet.

There are also Sinai Service taxis within Nuweiba who will transport you anywhere within Nuweiba, and also to Dahab or Sharm El Eheikh - we advise to bargain the price in advance. The taxis run without a meter, and the price is a pure question of bargaining. For the trip between the Nuweiba Coral Hilton and Nuweiba city (about 5 km) there have been price ranges between 5 LE and 30 euros!

There are daily ferries from Nuweiba to Aqaba and return (minimum 32 $, www.jordansinaihotels.com/transptrips.htm). You can acquire the Visa at your destination.
